Dark thoughts
Surrounded by light
Knowing everyone by face and name
It’s hard to find
Someone who cares
Someone who loves you for who you are
But it’s easy enough to find
Someone who looks down on you
Someone who turns his head away
Shame is chasing you down
Like a dark cloud in the pouring rain
Until you fall and see reality
Standing there
Not knowing at all
The one you were looking for
Brightnes
Surrounded by dark
Wanting to know his face and name
