Wet water slipping under our feet.
Running through our toes,
Looking as if they weep.
To where the tide stands,
Travel with me.
Venturing will be short with caps so gray and strong.
Watch your step love,
Grumpy gravel also flows along.

Your poem has powerful imagery. I could visualize this piece well. I could see a couple in love wading through the ocean as the tide comes in and walking hand in hand. Very inspiring piece.

A poet that paints lovely pictures in other's minds. This was so refreshing, Andrew. Do more of these please. Few words, but paints with water colors at times.! It all flows so nicely together, and I lovet reading it in 90 degs weather!
Finely done, Loved this line at the end.
Watch your step love.........I can read so much into just one line Andrew.......and I know you meant for me to do just that too!
