Are you ok?

Topic: LostLove

My heart yearns to know that you’re ok

Clinging to a belief that you couldn’t
be without me. I do all that I can to forget
you but my true feelings that lay in my subconscious
no less appear. I love you so much that I see you
in my dreams. I did not ask for this. I didn’t beg you to
stay I just wanted you to be happy. I thought I knew best.
Maybe I did. Maybe I didn’t. Time has passed still you
have such a hold. Forgetting you is as impossible as
forgetting I have an arm or leg for you were as much
a part of me. Forcing a man to give up his duties of
protection and stability has left me confused and in
disarray. A heart that’s broken but seeks repair.

I search and search but cannot
find a similar love anywhere. When will this pain
and agony subside? I suppose a genuine heart that
genuinely loved cannot be stripped of its true nature.
I’ve come to find a love so sure, so concrete, so innocent
and rare can never be taken away. Perhaps a gift
so precious was never meant to be forgotten. So then
It is said, I loved you then and I will always love you

I just want to know that you’re ok.

I like this, and I know how you feel.
I hope that you are able to connect with her again, and make sure she is indeed, okay.
I wish the best for you.
Have a great day, and I'll keep an eye out for your writing, you have talent.
