You are my rainbow star
Someone that I can trust
Someone who will protect me from the storm
You are my rainbow star
With your light that shines so bright
Whenever I am cold, you make me warm
You say the things I need to hear
And wipe away all of my tears
You have always been there for me
You're a friend in more ways than one
Together I know we belong
I hope you will always be
My rainbow star
You are my rainbow star
Someone who gives me hope
Someone who gives me strength to believe
You are my rainbow star
With your loving touch
You give me life when I struggle to breathe
At night you tell me to rest
So in the day I give my best
You have always been there for me
There is nothing that you won't do
I don't know anyone like you
I hope you will always be
My rainbow star
And even though I have done nothing wrong
You say it is your time to move on
Go and find another place
To put a smile on someone's face
And leave a legacy that will stay strong
You were my rainbow star

You will still watch from afar...
