Walking the straight line of a carpeted hallway.
With patterns shifting underfoot from time to time.
Wondering why the walls are breathing and every face seems to race around my mind.
Dancing trees and endless picture perfect skies where clouds filled with happiness begin to cry.
Attempting to clean dirt, but you can’t make dirt clean, just lemon scented.
But there isn’t any Mr. clean in rain.

BRAVO! BRAVO!BRAVO! Roses at your feet Andrew. Your poem was exceptional, and my empathy to you is too! I had a 16 year old son many years ago that found himself where you are now. How my heart goes out to you, and everyone you share the facility with.
