This Magic
As the sun peaks through the window, I open sleepy eyes.
My mind still off in slumber, ending dreams from last nights skies.
Moving gently not to wake you, I reach to find you near.
Then warmth felt when I touch you, I reflect the passing year.
We joined our lives together, to love, to hold, to care.
With strength in conversation, on this journey which we share.
This magic we created, this love that lights our way.
In my arms I will always hold you, as we share each passing day.
