You dug a hole so deep that you found what you were looking for
Problem is, you barely had to scrape the surface
None of it ever made you very happy
Now you've hit rock, and you're ready to break through
There's something underneath
Something I don't think you're prepared to hear
I warn you now to stop while you're ahead, I beg of you
You'll unleash something huge, something that you can't stop
It's a part of me that's been hidden from you for years
So let this be, for now
Over time it will surface
Like normal things in nature
So let it
And let it go
