Prisoner

Contributed by LyssaM on Saturday, 17th July 2010 @ 12:07:32 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I am a prisoner of my self existence
Unable to find the strength to release myself
From the wrath of what I call Love

I am a prisoner of my self existence
Crossing the bridge of denial
And into the river of self pity

I am a prisoner of my self existence
Crying out for another chance to change reality
To what it once was

I am a prisoner
Not of my self existence
But of the power within the mind of the enemy

Excellently written. I relate to your words so well, especially
this day. Time encircles us and refills our desire to exist free
of anguish. Sometimes it feels like an endless revolution of
discord; a collision with emotion that we must cycle through.
Not always easy but writing helps. =)

Wonderful post! -- Achelois
