So Close Yet So Far

Contributed by psychopunk on Wednesday, 16th April 2003 @ 10:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

he walks up to the door
looks up at the sky
cloudy and gray
so so depressing
knocks on the door
stands up straight and smiles
trys to seem carefree
but deep inside his heart is in so much pain
door opens
there she is
so beautiful
such a sweet innocent face
his smile quickly becomes a frown
she looks up at him with her teary eyes
grabs his hand
puts something in it and gentle closes it he then opens it and sees his class ring
closes his eyes and thinks
THIS CANT BE HAPPENING
he opens his eyes and sees her crying
he gives her a hug and begins to cry
goodbye I will always love you she says
he nods his head
and thinks
WHY IS SHE DOING THIS THEN IF SHE LOVES ME
he gets into his car and stares at her
and begins to think of the past
WHAT DID I DO?
WE PROMISED TO BE TOGETHER FOREVER
I WAS THERE FOR HER AS MUCH I AS COULD BE
I CANT GO ON
-------------
starts his car
drives to a parking lot not to far from the house
looks at the sky and the river
turns the radio on
ITS THEIR SONG
he crys again
I LOVE HER I CANT GO ON
he writes something on a piece of paper then reaches for his wallet
takes her picture out and stares at it
then he reaches into his dash
pulls out a pistol
stares at it
closes his eyes and nods yes
leaves his car and goes into the woods and sits on a rock next to a tree
looks up into the sky
then looks at her picture again
SO BEAUTIFUL
SO PRECIOUS
sighs
holds the piece of paper and her picture to his heart
so so depressing
puts the gun into his mouth
sweats heavily
closes his eyes and thinks SORRY MY LOVE I JUST CANT...
takes a deep breath....
a tear runs down his cheek
BANG!!!
town goes silent
the bang rings throughout the town
------------IN THAT TIME PERIOD---------- she closes the door and runs to her room
WHY DO I FEEL LIKE THIS WHY?
WAS THAT THE RIGHT THING TO DO?
she then relizes she is still deeply in love with him
WHAT HAVE I DONE I HAVE TO HAVE HIM BACK
she runs to the door and opens it......
BANG!
she hears a gunshot
her heart begins to beat faster
she runs to the street wondering where that noice came from
she sees his car in the parking lot
still started
she lets out a sigh of relief and then smiles and runs to the car
as shes running
a bad feeling creeps into her
she finally gets to the car and looks in the window and sees nothing
but can hear the faint sound of their song
she smiles
WHERE IS HE?
she calls out his name
then she notices his hat on the ground at the begining of the woods
as she walks towards it to pick it up
she sees him sitting on a rock agaist a tree
she lets out another sigh of relief and yells
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?
no answer
TALK TO ME PLEASE!!!!
no answer
I LOVE YOU!!!!!
starts to cry
TALK TO ME!!!!!
I LOVE YOU DO YOU HEAR ME I LOVE YOU DAMNIT!!!!
she runs over to him crying and sees blood all over him
gun in his hand
she stares in horror
NO! NO!
THIS CANT BE!
NO!!!!
WHY DID YOU DO THIS WHY?!?!?!
then sees a piece of paper in his hand with her picture
she takes paper and reads it
TO MY LOVE
NOT SURE HOW YOU WILL BE GETTING THIS
BUT I HAD TO WRITE MY FEELINGS DOWN I WISH IT DIDNT HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS
I WANTED TO BE WITH YOU FOREVER
I JUST COULDNT PART FROM YOU
I LOVE YOU
she starts to cry heavily
NOOOOOO!!!
MY BABY!!!
I MUST BE WITH YOU!!
she says determined
she sits on his lap and lays against him
she sees a tear on his cheek she wipes it off with her finger
closes her eyes and kisses it
she then digs into her pocket and takes out his picture
puts his picture in with the piece of paper and her picter
takes his hand with the note and his and her pictures and holds it to her heart
she gives him a kiss on the lips
I LOVE YOU
I WILL SEE YOU SOON BABY
takes his other hand with the gun and puts it in her mouth
slides her finger over his and grips his hand tightly
closes her eyes and takes a deep breath BANG!!!
two passionate lovers
dead together
so awful yet so beautiful
they're so close yet so far
