Fallen Angels

Contributed by lovingwhispers on Friday, 16th July 2010 @ 11:12:59 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I could see for endless miles and I heard freedom's cries
I caught a glimpse of home as you held me with your eyes
You lifted me beyond the night, heaven didn't seem that far
The night this fallen angel found her wings among the stars

Attached and fused in flesh,I was bound by love's sweet ties
Captured in a moments touch,I shed layers of my disguise
Wrapped up in reality where truth of heart and soul resides
The night this fallen angel found her wings deep down inside

A symphony of sensual, the string section of my desires
Filled empty hallways of lost dreams and how they did inspire
Everything and anything as I floated upon your song
The night this fallen angel found a place she could belong

Lovers in their faraway places, awoke and heard the distant sighs
Of two who whispered into each,"I've been waiting all my life"
Poetic in flawless motion,a rhythmic dance of unspoken words
The night two fallen angels, found each other here on earth
