SNIPITS
I flit and fly
I hide and seek.
I puff
I deflate.
I dart to and fro
I am quick and agile.
I peek and ponder.
I crawl and slump.
I smile and
I smile some more.
It’s a gift to smile.
It’s a blanket
A cover
A costume
An expression.
It’s the other me.
I stuff myself with ranting.
I tuck it away.
I do not hate.
I say I do not hate.
I try to please.
Who am I trying to please?
I am not pleased.
I am not happy.
I please others.
I do not please me.
I question
I ask.
I ponder
I search.
I believe!
I hang on
I cling.
I hold
I grasp.
If I am not pleased then whom can I please?
Is HE pleased with me?
HE is patient!
