Proverbs 24:11
Reminds us in America that those that forebear or do nothing to deliver those being slain, are guilty themselves of the slaying.
Israel, God’s apple of the eye,
Is now engaged in mortal combat's strife.
Its land was given it by God on high,
Yet it must fight for it and for its life.
Its Head of State is welcomed like a lout,
Alike a dull inconsequential man,
And after waiting long he is shown out,
Oh courtesy! - nearby a garbage can.
No carpet was rolled out as formerly
And later too for morons and their ilk,
Embarrassing for all to watch and see,
Peraps someone brought him a glass of milk.
The sole and most dependable true friend
And middle eastern sole democracy,
Feels its annihilation round the bend
By agents of the dark pit's infamy,
But Prophet Joel, boldly speaks to us *
And tells God judges nations fair and right,
Gave human speech to braying Balaam’s Ass, *
To show His wishes, plans, His power and might.
The ass would have no part in speech adverse,
Was beaten hard and finally it spoke,
But uttered blessings only and no curse,
While patiently enduring many a stroke.
Poor beast, that had been hit first by a log
Thrown down on it, then injured with a skewer,
In the politically correct fog,
In secular socialism's smelly sewer.
Thus speaks the Lord : ”If you hurt Israel,
I’ll hurt you too, thus note this,- be prepared,
The land is theirs, - the scriptures tell it well,
Should you read Holy Writ, or else have heard."
"But if you bless it I will bless you too,
God said and promised it so long ago,
But if you hurt and curse it you will rue,"
A lesson learned by haughty Pharaoh,
And history's tyrants and their murderous crew,
They had their day, but great their final woe,
God judges nations, Gentile or the Jew.
Bear this in mind, proud modern Pharaoh!
God judges nations with great equity,
A bridegroom always out His bride to woo,
That still holds dear His corporeity,-
Behold, He walked this planet as a Jew.
The story of Balaam is contained in Numbers 22-24 and 26:8-16; Deuteronomy 23:4; Josue, xiii, 22; and xxiv, 9-10. There are also references to him in Nehemias, xiii, 2; Micheas, vi, 5; II Peter, ii, 15; Jude, 11; and Apocalypse 2:14.

How wonderful to have you back with your interesting poetry!
This poem is stunning, and right up to date,

Keep them coming, I'll be here to read them, and enlighten my Biblical thoughts, like a budding tree! They are marvelous indeed!
Warm love
