Pick my candidate, Pick my candidate, the girl in the sweater says. As the rich got strong
They didn't pass the wealth along. The wealth of these nations is the sum of terrorism
running propaganda on tv stations. Why do we have to pretend; feel that we are afraid to
do something? What will it take What will it take for hatred to be gone? Why can't we save
Why can't we save more lives, and make the wars done? Give the keys of cities to those
of which it means nothing. Please, girl in the sweater, say we won't have to drop
another single bomb.

I can feel the emotions of eagerness and anxiety as I read the lines of your poem. Sad that we can't end the wars and save lives. Life goes on. Well expressed words of emotion. Keep up the good work. |
