Cold Morning

Cold Morning

Walking outside, early this morning
Watching the clouds, escape my mouth
Looking down, at my hands
They are so red
My cheeks, have lost their coloring
All my feelings, traveling south
Just like my friends
Hope there is, something better ahead

Spring is here, but all I see is snow
I have said my sorries and made my dues
God damn I feel so low
What am I suppose to do

What is the point in saying sorry
When all you get is a door,
Slammed in your face
Where is the logic in apologizing
When all you get is a cold shoulder,
With a greater feeling of guilt

Soon the snow is going to fade
Soon the sun is going find its way,
Over here
That is why you say sorry
Because someday you might,
Be able to stay, inside
On an early morning,
Away from the cold feelings

I agree with the wonderful ladyfawn, it is sad, and when love takes a hike, It's like a block of ice fall on your head.
