Lifepoems
|
I wanted a life
Devoid of stress
And I strove to learn
How to find success,
To be a master of what
I desired each day
Money, it seemed,
Finds you a way
But now I pause
And carefully see
Everything and everyone
Surrounding me:
Money, I have learnt,
Plays a negligible part
For happiness is the ultimate
Desire of each heart

Nice poem. Short and sweet. Foresight my brother is always better than hindsight. But we utilise the latter disproportionate to the former |
