The sound of inner peace
hypnotizes
the soul.
Cottonly clouds quietly colliding
carrying
dreams.
Subtle raindrops drip drop
releasing
subconscious sorrow.
The voice of sleep
whispers.
Quiet murmurs of calm
reverberate
in the dreamer's psyche.
I long for the time again
when I can hear
sleep's voice!

the sound of inner peace hypnotizes the soul(to me means that stage right before rm sleep) cottonly clouds quietly colliding(to me, sounds like your bed turning into a haven for dreaming to take place) now your dreaming, but subconsciously in sorrow because you know you'll have to wake up eventually. then sleep whispering to you that its okay to wake, for it will return again someday and reverberate with its fimilar expereinces. and the end is blataint. im tired to=). but this is what i felt about this wonderful, even calming to me, peice.
very beautiful.

When I read your poem, I saw great depth and a chemistry with words.
You also have an artistic flair in your imagery. And, suddenly a dot of paint - isn't a dot of paint at all but a Monet. I say this for very few could write of insomnia and make it artistic and poetic.

This is as cool as they come ! Your poem itself has a hypnotic quality ! Ironically, like a beautiful lullaby :) A very reverberating poem. Great job ! |
