In the throes of agony,life is a slipping dream
All that escapes my mouth is a silent scream
The heaviness in my heart pins me to the ground
I reach out for hope, but I am pulled further down
Every step I take is a physical ache
In an endless journey, I am compelled to take
An illusion of happiness is all I can create
But its shattered by yet another twist of fate
As I dangle between pain and the end of everything
I take my final fall, flying with my broken wings

I've been there before. Continue writing and let the words be the outlet of your state. You have a talent for this wordplay that expresses exactly where you are. Taking the reader with you to that place just exemplifies how great a poet you really are.
