If you want my love sweet to be
Then take yourself along with me,
To place of pleasant fields of green
Where we can stroll and be not seen
And busy schedules we can flee.
The day is nice the weather’s fine
This bottle speaks of vintage wine
A loaf and cheese can be ours dear
If you want.
As we walk I’ll sing you a rhyme
Of handsome knights in olden time
When maiden’s care was theirs to hold
And showing might with fights all bold
Come be with me the time is prime
If you want.

This had such a classic feel to it
Of life moving at a pleasant leisurely pace
A picnic on a beautiful sunny day, a time for simple pleasures !
