First love

Contributed by Matthewreid on Saturday, 10th July 2010 @ 10:08:51 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

She was my best friend
It seems all that has come to an end
The pain of the first love runs deep,
Paralyzed all I can do is weep

I loved her so very much
No more do I feel her loving touch
Im reminded of her where ever i go
These memories i bury below

While my dreams die in the cold
My heat screams from the pain untold
No one sees the pain I'm in
How could they its buried beneath my skin

I begged her to stay
But still she walked away
Said she always be there
She lied and left like she didnt care

My heart has been shattered,
Hopes and dream, scattered
All my love is gone
And feels like there is no dawn

To her my heart belongs
Ever still after all the wrongs
I'd do anything for her warm embrace
Because she'll always be my amanda grace : )
