What Dreams May Come

Contributed by Bunit682 on Saturday, 10th July 2010 @ 07:16:38 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I close my eyes as I lay down in bed
Still portarts of the day are on replay in my head
I start to think About your smile and how it's illumination
When I'm in the darkest of places
And some where around here I drift off to sleep
And my thoughts just keep
Coming like they always do
But they are always about you
Suddenly I'm lost in your eyes
And it's no surprise
That I don't have a map
So I can't get back
Now I'm holding you tight
In the dead of night
under the moon
And soon
We are flying through the sky
If your my angel then I'm not afraid to die
We go high way above the clouds so we can see the stars
And float back to earth in each others arms
Suddenly I wake but way to early
Cause real life isn't that pearly
Cause your gone from me and well never be one
All the good times are over and done
I've got a sickness and I know what it's from
Cause I dread what dreams my come

Sad but another good write.
It shocked me when you said you just started writing.
You're like me, when you got the urge you just grabbed the pen and run with it.
huggs, smiles, blessings,
emy

Beautiful poem. It starts out quite positive and dreamy and transforms to a melancholy ending. Quite romantic. I could visualize it perfectly.

Very good poem, I would have like to have written it myself because I have the same kind of dreams.

Beautiful !! Very refreshing

It was so light and airy I was smiling till I reached the sad ending... :(
But I reread the happy parts again :)
"Suddenly I'm lost in your eyes
And it's no surprise
That I don't have a map " :
Lovely write !
