WHEN YOU FEEL LONELY
WHEN YOU FEEL SAD
WHEN YOU FEEL SCARED
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
WHEN YOU’RE BULLIED
WHEN YOU’RE ABUSED BY YOUR SPOUSE AND THROWN OUT INTO THE GUTTER THROUGH NO FAULT OF YOUR OWN
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
WHEN YOUR CHILDREN TURN AGAINST YOU DUE TO A CLOUDY AND MISTY MIND
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY
WHEN YOU’RE DAUGHTER AT THE RIPE OLD AGE OF 16 DECIDES TO CHANGE HER MAIDEN NAME TO HER MOTHER’S MAIDEN NAME
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
WHEN YOU TRY SO HARD TO CARE, SHARE AND HELP A TEENAGE SON TO STOP THE DRUGS
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
WHEN YOU’RE SPOUSE WHO’S NOW YOU’RE EX MANIPULATES YOUR CHILDREN AGAINST YOU
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
WHEN YOU’RE SPOUSE NOW YOUR EX DOES NOT SUPPORT YOU WHEN YOU NEEDED HER THE MOST
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
WHEN YOU’RE SPOUSE NOW YOUR EX SEDUCES YOU AFTER TURFING YOU INTO THE GUTTER THEN CHEERFULLY SAYS I NEEDED SEX
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY
WHEN A LOVING AND CARING HUSBAND AND FATHER GIVES ALL HE POSSIBLY CAN TO SUPPORT AND SACRIFICE HIS FAMILY IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
WHEN A HUSBAND NOW ALONE AFTER SEVERAL HURT FILLED YEARS OF MANIPULATION AND MIND GAMES IS STILL SUBJECTED TO THOSE GAMES HIS EX EMPLOYS
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
WHEN A HUSBAND NOW ALONE WHO SUFFERS FROM A WORK RELATED ILLNESS WHEN HE NEEDED HIS EX’S SUPPORT BE TREATED IN-HUMANE BY HIS VERY OWN CHILDREN
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
ASK YOU’RE EX IF HE IS ALLOWED TO CRY OR TRY TO RETAIN HIS SELF ESTEEM AND DIGNITY
IS A MAN ALLOWED TO CRY?
NO, HE IS ONLY ALLOWED TO BE SEGREGATED FROM THE THREAT OF HER POWERFULL MIND!
MY TEARS HAVE ALL BUT DRIED UP NOW BUT MY HEART STILL CRIES FOR THE LOVE OF MY CHILDREN!
GOD, HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND WHY!

Hi Michelle. Thankyou for your kind words! I am sorry to read you too have been on the receiving end of this terrible nightmare.
It's in silence we pay the price, a select few of my friends and family know i'm hurting but not anywhere to the extent my peoms depict!
In some respects I am fortuanute to discover this web site, a friend recomended it to me, and I truly find it a way of letting my inner feelings naturally release how my mind is tormenting my body right now!
I have been seeking medical assitance for several years but it's not the same as expressing my self in this format!
Thanks, I will continue to write how i feel, trying to express it more precisely is difficult - the reliving of it all must come out!!! If it's by way of tears, so be it!
Kind Regards
Chris |

This is so sad. I can not imagine putting some one through this or being put though it my self. Sure I have my share of problems but I can not imagine this. Even though I don't having kids, I plan to, and just the though of , my future children turning on me is inconceivable. So even though I don't really know your pain, I can feel for you

Hi ShadowsCloud! Thankyou for reading my poem and your kind words. It has taken me many years to let my words out, if were not for a friend referring me to this site i would possibly have never let out what is inside me!
I have had enourmous support from family and friends but to this day the pain and suffering remains! I have had enough counselling now, i know it's time to live my life and patiently wait for my kids to return, they will some day, i feel it:)
Hey, ShadowsCloud don't ever think this will come anywhere close to you because it won't! It's not un-common what has happened to me, i guess no-one like me has heard of this site & fortuanate enough to let it out, i am finding it a form of therapy actually!
If you have a supportive husband you will have a lovely family........Thanks Again......Chris |

Chris,
I am sure that your kids will return to you one day. I can be sure of this because of my own experence with my father. Because even though I have not heard a word from him in over 13 years, I still wonder about him. I have been trying to find him for the last 5 years, because I just want to know why it seems like he never cared. I have also found it to be therapeutic to post poems about my inner most pain and desires on this site. I am not married yet, I am only 20 years old, but I do hope to one day have a husband that is supportive of my and everything that I do.

Yes, a man should be able to cry. It does not make him unmanly but makes him a man. I am so sorry for you heart ache. We may never know the anwers to our why's. We must live our life one moment at a time, knowing the things we go through only makes us a stronger and more loving person. I see that in you in your poetry. |
