MARLIN, THE MUSEUM MAN
Lovingly, I nicknamed Marlin,
"Merlin, the Magician"
"Still waters run deeply," the man
behind the curtain, his cushion.
Most everyone else called him "Shane"
Rightfully so, his gun was loyalty,
righteous heart maintain.
Down through these many years, Marlin,
the historian used them well.
Recording his classmates history, faithfully,
sacrificially, time consuming, love dispel.
We all thank you dear Marlin for your
hard work and devotion.
Your persistent pen places us all in history,
forever written.
Among his many talents, Marlin is also the
"The Museum Man."
His second year as President, he's quite
the "History Buff" and newsman
Want to know something about Wheatland's
present or past?
His knowledge of both is amassed!
I've always loved you Marlin,
dear classmate and fine lad..
Good heart, kindness, goodness,
a wonderful triad.
Quiet, but love your comments
when you do speak.
We've grown old together, just think?
now we're valuable antiques!
~~~
Created especially for
you, with warm love,
One of my favorite
people, and good man
