In the middle of a dark forest somewhere,
There is a small stream of consciousness
Is my favorite writing style because it
Carries my mind wherever there is water,
There is civilization waiting to develop
Into some sort of powerful being
Known for insanity is not nearly as great
As being known for noble acts and
Valor is one of the qualities most lacking
In nutritional value, like doughnuts and
Soda pop stars being paid millions to make
Love to the camera is still the same thing as
Being paid millions to make love
And once the afterglow and hangover have worn off,
You realize the graveness of the mistake you just
Made your bed for the first time in
Months since you last washed up for dinner in the Rockies,
Where the good men and women of America
Scoff at the sins of the “Dirrty” and
“Stripped” of their innocence at such a young age
To make a few bucks for all of the
Suits spend so much time looking at the mirror
That their reflections blind them
To all of the evil things they
Do not care they only
Pretend to like their jobs,
Though I know in my heart
That every single one of them
Really just wants to be
In the middle of a dark forest somewhere,
There is a small stream of consciousness,
Where I go to let my thoughts run free.
