LEAD ME

I went to your house today, Everyone there sat down to pray.
Bells started ringing, then a choir of angels started singing.
The room went quiet, and a man walked in.
He carried a book, in his right hand.
As he spoke, not a sound could be heard, as he delivered each and every word.
His words were clear, as he spoke to me.
His voice was soft, as he said to me.
"You too shall live, if you live through me".
I hung on his every word, and in my heart I started to believe.
He talked on healing, and loving him, he even said he would come again.
His words he said could be heard, on everyday and on every wind.
When his words he had finished, I knew in my heart.
My life would be fine, and I would have a brand new start.
I raised my head from prayer, and I looked to find him standing there.
His hands were nailed to a cross, and a crown of thorns he wore in his hair.
I said"Thank You Jesus, for loving me".
He said" Thank You child for believing in me."
I went to your house today, and Lord I sat down and I started to pray.
