A meeting long overdue.

It was a beautiful sunny day on June 22,
In Wyoming in my husbands truck,
I finally met my friend Connie Sue,
we were close to her home what luck,
We met that day face to face,
but really 8 yrs ago met on YPDC,
a Granny so full of loving grace,
& now I can clearly see,
She was there for me in times of pain,
chating & poems to ease my heart,
times just seemed so insane,
but we clicked from the start,
Its so nice to finally see her & her loving smile,
thanking her for being there for me,
as we sat & talked a while,
I knew it was meant to be,
After 8 yrs of chating & emails on line,
her hugs were a comfort to my kids & I,
she gave them books & made them shine,
it was simply hard to say good bye,
I will treasure that day as I know she will too,
a Granny to my kids, a friend to me,
It was a meeting that was long overdue,
that left me with a great memory.

This is so wonderful...I am thrilled for you both.... Connie is such a lovely, caring lady... I can't get over how big Leanne has grown...
