so the story goes

Contributed by rawjer on Tuesday, 29th June 2010 @ 10:55:43 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

start with a moment
and end with a second
from mind to mouth
i kinda wrecked it
out in the open, out up high, out of my mind
so the story goes and ill never forget it

so Calais, so cold, so what!
and so what now?
maybe the end of our rendezvous
for one plus one equals two
so elegantly heard by me...from you

a lie to me isn't the same as some
but hypocrisy in that lie hurts everyone
how do I get to this point with no notice
no need, no want, no way!
cliche as Rome wasn't built in a day

so Calais, so cold, so the story goes
stay tuned for chapter two unfolds

I really like how this poem flows. And it's very interesting.
You say, "stay tuned for chapter two unfolds" does this mean there is going to be a series? if so, I look forward to reading it/them.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
