Can you see how much you have hurt me.
Why can't you see the hurt that shows in my eyes.
Maybe your blind and can't see or don't want to see.
The love I use to have for you now dies.
My heart is aching to be held close by someone who cares.
The hurt that you put me through.
All the yelling as you pushed me down a flight of stairs.
Words you would say to me afterwards, I know now they were so very untrue.
I looked into the mirror as I touched my face full of bruises and cuts everywhere.
The names you called me , how they echo in my mind.
I feel so alone and useless inside, why can't someone see .
The scars on my body will always be there as I try to put this behind.
I want to be alive and free.
To hear the words of comfort as they wiped my tears.
All my pain and suffering is finally now all exposed.

very powerful piece, it is intense and so well expressed, thanks for posting.
