ONE FLAW IN WOMAN
By the time the Good Lord made a woman
Six days of working overtime, she was finally done.
An angel appeared and said,
"Lord, why are you spending so much time
on this one?"
"This one must be tough, I must
really strengthen.
She must have over 200 movable parts,
all replaceable.
Be able to run on diet cola, and leftovers,
and still maintain a chuckle"
"A lap that will accommodate four children,
and,
Her kiss will heal any scrapped knee or
broken heart, her spirit n'er dampen,
She's going to be amazing, she will be
capable of doing everything
with just two hands!"
The angel was astounded, "No way can she
do everything with just two hands!"
"This creation is so close to my own heart.
She already heals herself when she is sick
and can work 18 hours for a start"
The angel moved closer, and touched her
"But you've made her so soft, Lord,"
"Yes, but braver!"
"She needs to be soft," the Lord agreed
"But I've given her much endurance to succeed,
You have no idea what she'll create or accomplish."
The angel then asked, "Will she be able to think,
or be closed-minded and prudish?
"Wait until you see her negotiate, and reason.
"Oops," said, the angel, as she touched the
woman's cheek, she's leaking,
see it glisten?
I knew you were putting too much into
this model!"
"That's not a leak," the Lord corrected
that's her "Heart's Level!"
"Overly joyed, or overly sad, her heart
will overflow with tears
These "heart drops" will appear
for those she endears."
They will express her sorrow,
her pain, her disappointment, her love
her grief, and loneliness
The angel was very impressed,
"You are a Genius Lord,
You thought of everything!
The woman you created is
filled with Goodness!"
"That she is," the Lord exclaimed
and her strengths will amaze all mankind.
She will bear hardships, and carry burdens
of every kind.
yet.......
She will hold on to happiness, love, and joy
Smile when she wants to scream,
and destroy!"
"Sing when she wants to cry, and
cry when she is happy.
She may be exhausted, but remain bubbly.
She will laugh when she is nervous,
but fight to the death for what she believes
to be precious!"
"She will engage a "Buzz-saw" for injustice.
She won't take "No" for an answer.
and,
will fight to solve a problem, she's fearless!
She will go without, so her family can have.
Go to the Drs. with a frightened friend,
their heart to salve!"
"She will love unconditionally, and
cry when her children excel,
She cheers when her friends children
get awards, fortune foretell.
She loves birthdays and a wedding
and,
When a friend dies, her heart will
break, no end to her mourning!"
"To lose a dear family member
tremendous loss.....
Yet, she will continue to carry
on for the sake of others,
'midst complete chaos.!
She will know that a hug, and kiss
can heal a broken heart, or bumped knee
Furiously loyal, your secrets, your buddy!"
"I'm going to make her in all shapes, sizes
and colors.
She will drive, fly, walk, run, or email you
to show she cares, and she'll give to beggars.
Her whole life will be centered around
the man she loves dearly.
She will support, defend, and even
give her life for him humbly!
The angel marvels,
"Gee, Lord, I truly believe you've
created her perfectly!
Yes, everything I create is perfect,
but she will always think she is not
worthy
That is her one flaw, and so I will
cover her with tremendous love
to protect her emotionally.
I will place Myself, My son, and her Loving
husband over her, to care for her
and love her deeply!"

I love this poem! Every line speaks truth about all the amazing aspects of being a woman. I have to admit most of us including me feel "unworthy" at times. This poem is a wonderful tribute to women everywhere!
