She Wakes Up To Another Day
Another Pointless Day Has Begun
Getting Out Of Bed, What A Chore
But It's Time, Time To Get Up, Get Out, Get On
It's Show Time
Put On An Act
Put On Your Happy Face
Put On The Costume
Get Ready To Go
The Stage Is Waiting
The World, Her Stage
Its All Just A Play
To Which She Has The Same Part Day After Day
Every Day Its All The Same
A Smile Here, A Laugh There
She's An Actress, Such An Actress
Playing The Part Of A Happy Girl
She's Good At Making Believe
She's Faker, So Unreal
Pretending To Be Something She's Not
And The World, Full Of Fools
That Buy It, Play Into It
She Tricks Them All
With Her Two Faces
Her True Face Hidden
So Far Away
She'll Never Let It Be Seen
Won't Let Anyone Know What She Really Feels
Or How Much She Really Hurts
Everything They Know About Her Untrue
She So Unclean, Unpristine
They Think She's Normal
She Pulls It Off, So Believible
Another Show Comes To An End
With An Applause From The Audiance
She Steps Off Stage
Crawls Back Into Bed
To Wait For Her Next Performance Once Again

it may be you're playing a part
but you have to be able to change
the role...unless you're a puppet... |

We can all act and hide our true selves but what good comes from hiding? People begin to like the falsehood that you have brought to life. The sad thing is is that so many people pretend in today's society and some of them pretend so much that they lose touch of who they really are. `Day` |
