God has touched you,
He is making your soul,
But I will see you only whole.
I look at the stars and start to ponder,
When will He give you to me I wonder?
I know you are there,
I know it wont be long,
Before you are in my womb,
And I sing you a song.
I will hold you in my arms,
I will keep you warm,
I will protect you,
from every storm.
How long do I wait?
God don't you think it is late?
The gift of a child,
I will never trade.

this is a wonderful heartfelt piece of writing.
The reader can almost touch your longing as if it is a physical thing, well done. |
