Take It all back

Contributed by Jessi95 on Saturday, 19th June 2010 @ 12:48:14 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

I look you in the yes
And I see the tears run down
How could I let myself?
Look like a clown

In your eyes
I was everything
Until one day
I cut the string

I came home
With another guy
I was drunk off my ass
And I was completely high

I’m not perfect
I tried to tell you
But you wouldn’t listen
So now we are through

I miss the love
That we obviously shared
I miss the way
You obviously cared

I blew it all
And there is no going back
All I really wish
Is that I could re-trace my tracks

I would find a way
To tell you how I feel
I would take it all back
So your heart wouldn’t have to deal

It seems you are retracing my own steps, as I have made the same mistakes and lost a love that was real. Keep your head up and keep writing.
