My Heart Will Always Remember You

Contributed by brialuv on Thursday, 17th June 2010 @ 04:23:02 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I take all the things that remind me of you and lock them away

I once wondered was it to good to be true

And the thought still remains...

The gentle kiss you would leave to linger upon my forehead

The compliments, the gifts, a pure gentlemen

Was it all apart of your game?

My heart yearns for the feeling I once felt

The tingling sensation, my heart racing with just the mere thought of you

The school girl chuckle when someone mentioned your name

But was it to good to be true...

What was your purpose were you here for me?

Time and time again I would say forget you and I can do better

But it was all a coverup from the true feelings I kept hidden inside

You hurt me deeply my soul will never look at you the same

But my heart will always remember you...

The good times, the laughter, the pain, the frustration, the resentment, the lies

My Heart Will Always Remember You.
