Again I'll Fall In Love With You

Contributed by Potpourri on Wednesday, 16th June 2010 @ 12:11:17 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

When my pondering ways are thru
of all the things i see,

grateful most of all for you
shall i always be.

For giving unto me the chance
to be your song of love,

how often does one get to dance?
with angels up above.

When my final breath is drawn
and i am laid to rest,

More than merely love the dawn
i shared it with the best.

When my curiosity is more than
satisfied,

because of you i'll know it's true
to me love never lied.

Yes my love until that time when
reason has surpassed all rhyme,

if all that's old again is new
again i'll fall in love,
with you.

Excellent stuff. Written like good old-fashioned poetry, like a true pro!
Take care, Chris.

this is a touching dedication to your love, but i must say i find the 'old' style a little distracting, mainly because it mostly consists of rearranging the words in sentences and incorrect use of words like "unto". it's a good idea though, and i encourage you to develop your thoughts with words you would actually use!
