Ferris Wheel

Contributed by eshine on Wednesday, 16th June 2010 @ 10:28:54 AM in AEST
Topic: fictional

and a little peck of kiss
lights the whole night in bliss
a shooting star
tiny sparkles of light
a comet through the sky
magnetic colors that blur
we fly,

and we walk along the road endlessly
spreading throughout space
like stars in grace
cosmic love drives,
drives us wild
and we walk along the road
that serves us while we're blind
lifts us up
carries us on
in round about circles
aboard the Ferris wheel
we are all one,

until we're able to see
we will ride the waves
until we're set free,
in the everlasting fun fair
of life
we sail...

Absolutely magical. I love your use of metaphors here. I will never think of a ferris wheel in the same way again. Great poem!
