THE STORM

THE STORM

they had never been friends before
she had always found him a complete bore!
that is, until the lightening came crashing
unconquerable fear, she was "heart-clinging!"

together in the house, and all alone
electricity was out, no phone!
cold, damp, and clammy night, he heard a thump!
each time the lightening flashed she would jump!

she knew he was cowering on the coach
she needed his comfort, no longer a slouch
she had always admired his strong appearance
her abstain for him was total absence!

another crackling crash, paralyzed her demeanor
she leaped toward the coach, fearless behavior!
he didn't resist her bold advances, but held her tightly
as the storm raged on, they clung to each other mightily!

they both knew this was wrong, abhorrent!
of their families disapproval they were not ignorant
another flash, but it wasn't lightening this time.
a near by flash camera helped me end my rhyme!
scroll down to see the couple caught in their crime!!!

Creating comedy can
be very tricky
Want to laugh even
more, this is Sassy!
Lovingcritters

my delightful friend Bern
sent this to me in an email
Thanks so much Bern
The poem is mine!

"There is a thin line that separates laughter and pain,
comedy and tragedy, humor and hurt."

Oh dearest onsue1!

A wise old Hindu told me that creating comic and hilarious compositions are delight in the eyes of God.
He subsumes also hilarity and blessed those that have been given wit.
Sweet little story, So nice and cosy if people hug in the storm, let them hug even in fair wheather. .
I enjoyed this greatly.
Thanks for oposing and sharig
Love and peace
Elizabeth
