If I choose to tell u my darkest secret
would u be a friend and keep it
If I let u look thru my world to see reality
would u notice the inner or the outside of me
If I let u look inside of me,
and u see nothing there
would u take me to the Land of Oz just to show that u care
just to look inside,
to see a heart so cold
would u warm me up,
would u give me back my soul
would u take my hand,
and tell me don’t be afraid
would u tell me to stand out in the sun,
and not in the shade
Or would u turn your face when u see me walking your way
would u put me in a trash bag and throw me away
would u throw me to the ground and stomp on my face
just cuz I wanted u to be my friend,
I wanted u to fill this empty space
but u are a hypocrite,
I knew it from the first time I met u
but like a fool I let u in my heart and now I can forget u
u never took my hand and lead me down the yellow brick road
u never talked to me,
never told me I had a life to hold
but I can make it to the Land of Oz,
cuz I’m not scared to walk alone
and now that I’ve been thru the pain,
I can find my way home
