Life is like a bowl of cherries
I'm sure you've heard someone say
Those who believe it, have no worries
Wealth and power have paved their way

Life is too short to live in the past
Though you have to learn from mistakes
If you didn't look back, how could you grasp
The knowledge of questions like which road to take

Life is a ***** and then you die
Yet the hardest times lie ahead
You may never understand some things
Confusion and chaos can leave you for dead

Life is living in the fast lane
Not hesitating for a single moment
All of the torturing and the pain
Struggling to find peace and being content

It's hard to understand just what to expect
To take the hand you've been dealt
And turn life into love and respect
So you can deal with emotions felt

To me life is full of second chances
Not knowing what the next day will bring
Knowing that there's more than backward glances
Believing you can do anything.
