As I walk down the stares
I can feel the hated run
I can see that look in your eyes
That tells me you’ve had fun
You went out
And got all drunk
Now you’ve come home
Just to act like a punk
Soon will come the yelling
Then will come the screams
Someone will call the police
And will be forced to take teams
My blood is running so fast
And I can feel myself get mad
Do you have any idea what you do
Every time you come home like this dad?
Can’ t you just stop?
Can’t you put the bottle down?
Instead of getting so drunk t
That you act like a clown
I smell the whisky on your breath
God, who did this to you
Why are you letting them win
Don’t you have a clue?
You don’t see what
This is doing to me
Why don’t you listen
Why cant you see?
I cry every night
But I hide it in the day
Because every time I see you
I just don’t know what to say
So I keep quite
Until the night time falls
Then I pour my heart out
Staring at these same four walls
I promise you this
I will get out
I will find a way
To show you without a doubt
