Time To Return

The anger of the Lord will soon reign down on this world
He's not coming with a peaceful word,He's bringing his mighty sword
To cut down all the wicked and remove them from his sight
For he is tired of all this darkness and He's bringing in the light
He's telling all you sinners,You better give your life to me
He's getting tired of waiting,Your free will is not for free
It was paid in full with blood,The blood of Jesus Christ
Because of mans rebellion he had to die a sacrifice
He looks down on this world and thinks,How can this be real?
After all the things I've done, they still rebel against my will
He says that he still loves you but wonders what's wrong with you?
You used to run in my anointing,To me you once were true
You know no drug can match the anointing of my Spirit
You try to fill that void with anything,The emptiness you fear it
He says he loves you very much son,and has prepared you a new race
He always loved it when you ran for him and the smile upon your face
It is coming to an end soon,His Holy Spirit's building up
He's tired of watching you run wild and says enough's enough
You are gonna go to church, you will listen to his voice
You have run out of options,I am your only choice
You are not the first one to change in the twinkling of an eye
I never did give up on you,in sin you will not die
I am removing all your sin, soon you will be as white as snow
You are gonna come running to the altar as soon as I say go
For son I've always loved you and a mighty work for you I've planned
I cannot wait to greet you first when you reach the promised land

Remember this. When people choose to withdraw far from a fire, the fire continues to give warmth, but they grow cold. When people choose to withdraw far from light, the light continues to be bright in itself but they are in darkness. This is also the case when people withdraw from God. ~ St. Augustine
