on the outside i seem to be like a rose
beautiful as can be
and filled w/ suprises beyond what eyes can see
i grow deep from the ground
unknown were roots are visible to see
and still i seem to be like the rose on the outside
beautiful as can be.....

but on the inside
im like a battle field
deternined for whatever obstacles come twards my way
and ready for the storm thats coming for the worse days
ready, armed, and looking foward for the night
not once do i let down my guards without a fight
but what people fail to realize not to see
is that despite my hurt and pain on the inside
on the outside im a rose as beautiful as can be
