Love Floating Away

Waiting away in the drift of the day,
People cross my sight, washing off shore without a fight.
Alone in my mind,
I fall over endless seas,
praying to seize past times,
Days with your love
Brightened my ways,
But now in absence,
I'm unable to keep balance.
Crashing down into the reef,
slowly floating away,
hoping it will sway
your love my way.
Our feelings were divine,
But you left me now to float,
Until your return one day
