Every morning I wake up,
Grimacing at the hour and scowling at the dawn,
But then one solitairy, wonderful thought surfaces:
Today will be a beautiful day,
For today I will be truly blessed,
With the presence and glory that is you.
Loving, caring, beautiful
The one who brightens my day.
Your smile lifts my heart,
Your laugh enriches my soul,
No one could possibly take my eyes
away from yours.
I forever long to lose myself
In your loving eyes
And seek comfort in your strong but gentle touch.
Your amazing voice is music to my ears,
And I am captivated by every hanging moment with you.
You are the only thing that remains constant in my heart,
Through hardships, heartbreaks, and ridicule,
You alone stand triumphant and wash away my sorrows.
You have proven your love for me,
And now you must know my love for you is true;
There can be no one but you.
This is why I am proud to say, "I love you."
