Satisfied

A month ago, the world allowed a teenager to be strung out on drugs.
3 weeks ago, the world sat back as a child got molested.
2 weeks ago, the world let a man cheat on his wife, who obliviously was faithful to him. And did I mention his wife was laying in a hospital bed at the time?
1 week ago, the world sanctioned corporate America to steal billions of dollars from its own hard working citizens.
This past weekend, the world ignored the police as they beat an innocent man and said they had to use excessive force. A routine traffic stop.
A few days ago, the world watched as a man robbed and murdered another man in cold blood, who was on his way home to his wife and 2 kids.
Yesterday, the world agreed with our media, telling us to look and act a certain way. Abandon ourselves and be what they want you to be. Millions went out and did just that.
But today, someone saw all this and asked the world. "Why allow all this to happen?"
The world responded, "This is the way it is and this how we want it."
This someone said "No more."
Right now, that someone is no longer satisfied with the status quo of the world and became satisfied with himself.

I tend to agree with you there. Regaining our moral values or trying to establish justice just no longer seem to be the priorities of the 'world'.
