Theres things in life I can't understand,
Nor could I even try,
like thoughts & feelings of man,
who often make you cry,
Theres things I just can not get,
no matter how hard I think,
going through the traces,as I sit,
tears falling when I blink,
Often I wonder when will I know,
how can I tell,
when will the answers show,
will it be easy to spell?
So much left unanswered,
In this game we call life,
some of it seems like a blur,
so much left to strife,
Why can't someone tell me,
What I want to hear,
will I fulfill my destiny,
this is what I fear,
wonder why I never get a break,
why things never go my way,
I always give,never take,
will I ever get my day?
Life is somewhat a puzzle to me,
The peices I'm yet to find,
putting them together,will set me free,
from these guestions in my mind!

| Dear Christina, Lightening just shut me down at the end of my comment to you, so... if you get two, you know why. Understanding Life was an excellent piece of writing. We all have those days, sometimes more often. Even at my age, which is more peaceful than my youth was, I still have those moments of hurt and anger. My faith in God was my key and I know you have that. Otherwise, I found much help in books concerning communication and behavioral therapy. Love, Friend Bizzy |
