Writers Block

Writers block is so, so cruel.
At least it is to me.
All these words inside won’t do.
They need to find release.
A cauldron deep inside my mind.
It’s overflowing fast.
I need to find some words to write.
My sanity won’t last.
Feelings that I can not voice.
I write them down instead.
It’s like I do not have a choice.
Words screaming in my head.
Poetry is not my gift.
It’s always been my cure.
It gives my spirit quite the lift.
It opens up new doors.
Take away my pen, I’ll yell.
My paper, do not touch.
There’s story’s that I need to tell.
And thoughts that can’t be hushed.
Inspiration soon will strike.
And than I’ll find my pen.
On the paper I will write.
My thought’s will be expressed.

| this is a poem many can relate to and feel empathy towards you. It's very inspiring how much you show to the readers how the simple yet complicated act of writing truly means to you. |
