My eyes do shed these tears of shame,
For I am stuck here in this cage.
'Why Shame?'
You ask.
I have put myself here through recklessness,
Like a bird stupid enough to get caught,
On the ground,
By a cat, no less.
But,
Instead of being mercifully killed,
I am stuck here 'till I either:
Work up the courage to end it early,
Or
Wait.
Wait, for it to end NATURALLY.
Whatever that heck that means.
If my dreadful exsistence,
Was MEANT to end by my own hands,
Then THAT'S natural.
And I'll take it.
