Sit quiet. It’s too late now. No place safe for you. No more. I’m sorry it’s come to this. You were almost free, someone almost loved you, but it’s too late now. For how long can you wait to be heard, drifting at the forefront, naked, unshielded. You have no advocate, you have no voice, only I know who you are. Lock away, encased in stone forever. It is too dangerous to do this journey again. Come forth no more, from your depths. Like a block of steal, sink deep my soul to the bottom, to the very abyss, where you were first born. There is no love for you. Cold and dark, forever hidden, harden away once more. You were at the brink, but now alone, to be swept away by emptiness, hide, hide deep. Inward, do not fight the drowning, let it take you under, take with you this fragile part of me. There is no other way to trudge on, this baggage I cannot bear alone, so I will not bear at all. Whisper not from your tomb. Sit quiet.
