You Know When You Know

You Know When You Know

You know that little voice inside of you that says you know
It’s amazing how accurate it is very truly so

How often has it spoken to you and later wish you’d listen
It usually has got it pegged very rarely missing

What is it inside of us that makes us still question
Is it we wanted a difference answer within our own deception

No matter how many times it proves to be true
We still have to find proof to make sure we really knew

Wouldn’t it be easier to trust in our intuition
Simply have faith in it and actually listen

How many times in your life have you said I Knew
I know in my life it totals more than a few

I don’t know if I just want to believe in people and the situation
It’s a terrible game we play with self manipulation

Yet no matter how many times we know we know
If it isn’t the outcome we want we don’t believe it so

Then later we have to tell ourselves once again
To trust our inner voice it really is our friend

I just wish things were really what they seem
Wouldn’t that be wonderful just like in our Dream

People are people and things pretty much stay the same
If we’d only listen to our voice we might do less in vain

I know I’ll probably continue to have to have the proof
Maybe I can trust my voice to steer me towards the truth

I have to try to remind myself to simply let go
And know that I know when I Know

I’m the one that seems to suffer most from my hesitation
If I trust my voice I just might avoid some future devastation

By simply believing whether I’m dealing with a friend or foe
To trust I already Know When I Know

Is it we wanted a different answer within our own deception, really enjoyed this look at intuition and think that that line is the pivotal one, I think our intuition is normally working very well we just want things to be different so therefore convince ourselves to not listen to the voice, well written
