oops

There’s a fireball of hope entwined in here somewhere.
Maybe it was you that left me searching everywhere.
Occasionally I think of someone else but often I can’t compare.
You’ve left me frozen in this paradise, and the words I want to say, I somehow can’t pronounce.
I liked it in the summer when the trees would sway and you’d give any time of day.
Weird how it was never really that deep,
But I still dream as I sleep.
I’d venture out to say something as you sit there in your glory, if it weren’t for my own new glory without you.
