YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

Contributed by robert_edgar_burns on Friday, 28th May 2010 @ 01:52:50 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

You are not forgotten.
I’d like to call you all by name.
But my Alzheimer's taken over,
So hey, what was I sayin?

Oh, yea, You are not forgotten.
And there’s no place we’d rather be,
In this whole wide world we’re living in,
Not even Chuck E. Cheese.

In a way we’re all imprisoned,
By our lives, jobs, and disease.
The chains that bind and shackle us
Leave us wishing to be free.

The bikers who came with me,
And even those in trucks and cars,
Could not be forced to stay away,
Because hey, it’s where YOU are!

Remember, You are not forgotten.
But for the Grace of God go we!
And I’d like to think if I was you
You’d come out to see me!

To prove you’re not forgotten,
When I come to the last line,
Please yell out your names to us,
And now is the perfect time! Now!

We won’t forget you! Thank You very much!
